Consulting Services is the practice that brings the experience of running across eighteen industries to the IT decisions an SME makes only every few years. A cloud migration. An office move. A core systems change. A merger. A first ever IT strategy. Each of these projects looks one-off from inside the business but fits a well-worn pattern from outside it.
We sit on your side of the table, do the work that produces a written and costed plan, and either deliver the project or hand it back to you in a state your incumbent supplier can execute.

How we work
- Brief (week 1). Single meeting per stakeholder. We walk away with a written brief and the list of things nobody quite agrees on yet.
- Audit (weeks 1–3). We read every contract, walk the estate, and produce findings. Findings are written for the board, not for IT.
- Plan (week 3–4). A costed plan with two or three scenarios, the trade-offs spelled out, and a clear recommendation.
- Deliver or hand off (ongoing). Either we run the project, or we hand it to your incumbent supplier in a state they can execute. Your choice.
Who it's for
- SME founders or boards making a one-off IT decision and wanting an independent view before signing a supplier
- Businesses that already have an MSP but want a second opinion on a major project
- Companies in the middle of a tenancy migration, an office move, or a systems change where the existing supplier is out of depth
- Acquirers needing IT due diligence on a target SME
Outcomes
- A written plan you can take to the board
- A clear view of the cost, the risk, and the time
- Two or three sensible options, not one supplier's preferred one
- Either a delivered project or a project your incumbent can deliver
Common questions
Will you compete with our existing MSP?
Not unless you ask us to. The consulting practice is independent by design and frequently works alongside an incumbent. If the right outcome is to keep the incumbent and tune the engagement, that's what we'll recommend.
How long does a strategy engagement take?
Typically four to six weeks for the initial audit and plan. Longer if it turns into a delivered project.
Do you build websites?
Yes. Modern, responsive sites, brochure or lead-generating, built quickly with AI-assisted craft and ready to update yourselves. Usually launched in days, not months.
Can you help with an office move?
Often. The IT side of an office move is one of the most common projects we run: network, cabling, telephony, AV, physical security and access control, sequenced so the move happens on time.
What does a board IT review look like?
A quarterly cadence with the leadership team. We bring the data, the roadmap and the cost view. You bring the business context. Output is a single page the board signs off on.
